Case Description
Running a research consulting business, I worked on contract several hours per week for a client some years ago, keeping weekly time-sheets. They fell behind in payment and after a while they terminated the contract. After that they kept making promises of paying the outstanding balance (which is considerable) when and how they can, but haven't lived up to that. All communication is initiated by me, and they are in arrears for more than 3 years now. In March this year they informed me that they are closing their business and I might get 10-20% on the dollar. Since then I've learned that their business is still active and continuing, while I haven't received any more communication from them. Legal action was due a long time ago.
