Description

Law Type:Employment / Labour
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia
Specific Issue: Wages Dispute

Case Description

Hi lawyers,

My issue that I'm facing right now is that I was verbally offerred a contract for 48,000 for this IT position. Then when the contract came in I saw that the salary had been reduced to 42,000. I think this is a break in verbal agreement. Would like to understand if I have a case here. Note that I rejected another offer that came in at 45,000 because this employer said he'll give me 48,000. I have proof of the other contract as well if you need to see this.

Thanks.
Danny
