Case Description
I am in a contract with the owner of the company I work for - I pay all taxes and expenses and work from home and the head office is in another city, so I essentially run my own business under her. I am moving away and looking to terminate my contract. The contract does not state anything regarding final wages or my last payment - only that I have to give one months notice. Do I have any rights to receive my final months wages and accounts receivable that may have accumulated over the last few months and haven't been paid in full by the company's clients? I have been with the company for 2 years and have a pretty good relationship with the owner.

absolutely for the payments of wages
for expense related, usually the contracts outline a time frame to get in your expenses. You should make sure that you always have your expenses done up to date to avoid any conflict at the time of resignation
