Case Description
Film production company, rented my equipment, used it, issued
cheque to me, then stopped payment. No explanation given.
Said they'd replace it but still waiting. Concerned since they owe
me more money in addition to this one. I would like to consult a business lawyer on thsi matter including whether I can place a lien on their
movie until they pay my bill in full. Not to mention the mileage, wear and tear on my equipment, out of pocket expenses as I had these vehicles fully maintained before renting them out to them. They are not a local company.
