Case Description
In 2002 I initiated a law suit against my general dentist who placed 5 implants which failed within 1 year. 3 specialists I saw afterwords all agreed it was due to his negligence. I wrote the details to the college of dental surgeons and they said they could not say exactly what the cause was as all the specialist gave a different reason for the failure. I was told by my specialist it was because he did everything wrong. I retained a lawyer but after 4 years gave up on the case at which time my specialist gave me a phone # for a better lawyer but at that time I was exhausted of the whole affair and gave up. I am now facing extremely costly reconstructive surgery to be able to wear my upper teeth again. My question is, is it too late to proceed with a law suit against the dentist. I did not sign off the litigation. If not I would like legal assistance.
