Case Description
I have had many bad dentists in the past which led me to have dental phobias. I shake uncontrollably, get very high anxiety and become extremely cold when in a dentists' office. I recently researched for a great dentist and found one - they are very kind to me and sedate me to do my dental work. At my last visit I was told that all my root canals that were done in my back teeth were started but never completed. I was told that I was to have crowns placed on my back teeth to prevent breakage. I have already had a tooth break on my back left side. I have since had many of my back teeth chipping and breaking causing many cavities. I do have an acid reflux disease which does not help with my teeth - those dentists were aware of that as well. They never told me anything about crowns upon teeth that have had root canals. It was expensive then to have that work done on my teeth, but because they neglected to tell me of this, the problems with my teeth are now twice as expensive. Was there negligence or malpractice on their part? There were 3 of them, all brothers who worked on my teeth and not once did they ever tell me of the dangers of not getting crowns and knew I had an acidity problem that does affect my teeth.
