Case Description

I was using a rebar vending machine the rebar was stacked i moved the foot on the machine forward and went to restack the rebar and the centre pin moved and crushed my fingers i went to stop the machine the turn off switch was under the machine table top covered by a plexy glass cover on a hidge i had to reach under the top of machine lift up cover then back off the rebar manually when i pulled my hand out from between the rebar my index finger was crushed as well as my middle figer and the one next to that one my supervis0r was notified right away i was rushed to hospital right away my fingers were rebuilt I lost part of my index finger from the nail up and part of my middle finger half way up the nail the next finger was split but not broken as well i am a general labourer not a rebar bender and I had one days training on this machine I should have been left there with a temp worker until I was trained properly.
