Case Description
my brother died intestate, we were advised that the Devolutions of Estates Act in NB would be the primary statute of law used. At the first hearing Judge number one seemed to be following this route by the book. As the case proceeded through Discovery etc, a second hearing called a Settlement hearing took place over a year later and the second Judge used case law or some other means and came up with a settlement that was bewildering to say the least. My real beef here is that our legal arguments were not presented correctly or entirely and the second Judge got way off base. I need a lawyer who specializes in Probate and Estate settlements and one who is unafraid to confront a Judge when presenting that case. On other words you got to have some dam backbone.
