Case Description
I dated him for 7 years and he was emotionally abusive for years but turned to phyical. I moved out of the house we bought to Alberta 3 years ago. We bought the house 4 years ago. He does not have enought money to pay my share of money that I have put into the hosue. I have put in 5000 dollars into the house. I also did all the leg work to aquire the house. When I left I only took some clothes. He has sold my bowflex that I am still paying for. He has also sold my car with out me signing it over. He has tried to apply for the mortgage on his own but does not qualify. He refuses to even consider to sell the house. Please help I have contact Lawyers in ALberta and they said they can not help me because the land is in Ontario and the laws are different then what they study. I called Ontario Lawyers and they said to contact a local Lawyer in Alberta. I just want to move on with my life and have my fair share of my house.
