Case Description

HR department manager wanted me to train her daughter to take over my job because I was moving to BC from AB. Her daughter has no experience with any job basically. So I was training her daughter and I lived with them at the same time. So it made seeing them at work more difficult, so I stayed with my friend for a while. HR Manager started treating me with disrespect, one day we had an agruement and then she ignored me for 3 days. Making my job very hard to do and impossible to be able to train her daughter. And then on the third day HR Manager invited me into her office and started yelling at me, so I left her office because I was uncomfortable. I felt she had no right to be yelling at me in the first place.

She has been rude and has treated me bad since, and she changed the locks on the door to our house so i could not get my stuff, when our agreement was that I stay there until February 6, 2010. Since I was uncomfortable and felt that she was bringing her home to work, and i wanted my stuff back. I left a letter for her and for my General Manager explaining why I was not at work. I had to find a new place to live and I felt I was being harrased.

When she got the letter on February 4, 2010 she called me 2 times saying how immature I was and calling me down. From her work place. Harrassing me some more, because obviously i wasnt there because of her.

She then proceeded to call me later around 11:00 am saying that I was terminated and she had a meeting about with the General manager. For no reason.

So I called my General Manager, an hour after when I knew he would be in. And he told me that I am taking this all to personal and that if i didnt show up for work in the afternoon i would be terminated but as of now I actually wasnt.

I am being harrassed at work and at home by this women and my work place tells me that I am taking it too personal.

So because my General Manager will not take this seriously and will not listen to my requests about being not comfortable working with her and being harrassed. I get terminated. I am looking for legal consultation on my options and thereafter take any possible recourse as per suggestions.
