Description

Law Type:Business
Location: Moncton, New Brunswick
Specific Issue: Breach of Contracts

Case Description

I was hired to do the graphic design of 25 Interpretation Panels to be placed along a trail system as well as at historic sites in the Miscou Island region. This was a Tourism NB initiative, with local committee involvement. The contractor, Gilles Daigle, hired me to do the graphic design. I provided a written estimate outlining what I was to do and for how much. I am still owed $13,000. Despite contacting both the committee and Dan Mills of Tourism and informing them of Gilles refusal to pay, he was paid in full. Now I am left to collect.
