Case Description
my daughter is almost 8 years old, and has never had anything to do with her biological father. he has never, even made an attempt to be in her life, has never offered any support. her biological father, has 3 other little girls born to him, that he takes care of... along with his wifes, son from a previous relationship. his 3 children, are all born within 18 months of mine, mine being the oldest and the next only being 3 months younger. He does not care for my daughter, nor will he ever, I have tried to allow him to be a part of her life, he just never took the interest.
Now, I have been with my husband for almost 5 years, he has taken care of her since we have been together. he treats her like his own. Nevermind the fact that we already have a baby together who is 21 months, and another baby on the way. More than anything my my husband wants to adopt her and my daughter, wants to carry the same name, as the rest of the family. he is the ONLY father she has ever known.
Please i need help and direction.... I need to know where to take this and how to go about the procedure, I would like it to happen as smoothly and as quickly as possible.
