Case Description
My mother has been living with her partner common law for 10 years at least. He has a BC Hydro pension and he is now very sick (lung cancer)and now in the hospital. She does not think he ever put her in as a beneficiary to his pension. She would like to legally claim herself as a beneficiary to the estate if he passes. He did have his former wife as a beneficiary several years ago but she passed on.
