Case Description
My Aunt passed away in March of 2006. She had a will and named my mother and myself as co-executors. My mother will be 95 in April and is blind so this is all on me. We were able to sell her home because of some law regarding how often the residence had changed hands.....she'd been there since 1955. I have a lot of paperwork regarding GICs, BCE Shares and a few other investments. Am I able to hand this information over to a lawyer to sort out and to Probate the Will?? Or must I go to all the Financial Institutions with the Will and Death Certificates and then hand it over to a lawyer. This is the second time I've asked this question.....I hope I get a reply this time. My family is on my heels about this and I just want to get it into Probate and done.
