my regerstered buisness,recieved a large fine for false pesonel income tax declarations.i have been in the garage buisnes for 15 years,family run,wife,son,bros,etc.i have had an accountant all the time with good bookkeeping,so all my documents are in order,to my surprise the auditer and my accountant came to a decision that does not make sense to us,my accountant said the buisness part of the audit was ok but our personal audit because of my cr card entries and checking account entries do not justify our income,well i thought my accountant was watching our back,he says never looked at our personel stuff.needless to say all our finances cr cards,line of cr,acts,our in the red.we also sell a few cars a year so used all of our resources to move money around,we recently could not rent our building and how mortgag our house to the tilt to continue our work,and the auditer tells my accountant 2005 to 2007 i owe 50% fine plus interest,plus undeclaired income,my accountant is in shock,we are also,somebody must see my documents to believe,ps i drive a 98 cravan and little assets but if i pay or sign or agree i must loose my family hard run mon to sat. buisness to tax people,the amount projected is quebec 60,000 after they say feds are coming another 60,000 then gstpst another 25,000 man if i made that money i would be in personel debt so much,i have 2weeks to agree to these amounts i told everyone i would consult tax lawyer and they say 250/hr.good luck. pls help immediatley the audit started with 1 person 2 weaks at my garge in july 2009 we are in 2010 in a recesion and bang was told by auditer didnt find anything very polite acct says everything okay,now left out to hang.auditer also threatned to check 2008 09 etc.I was told it is my fault because i did not watch my accountant who has 45 years experince,and during the audit had a heart attack i think he did not do his job as i forwarded all my paperwork to him.ps my accountant just gave me more news.listen to this,he said i do not agree with auditer figures i think he made a mistake,am i dealing with people that are deciding my fate are they profesionels i always paid my taxes on time garage reputation very good 15 years and the tax man wants to take what i truly do not have
