Case Description
My father lives in Niagara Falls and I live in BC. He has been ill for a long time and his girlfriend filled out a continuing power of attorney form and had him sign it at home. He had requested a DNR and recently she denied passing it on to the hospital and they intervened to save his life and he became angry. Before he could change his power of attorney he developed dementia and we would like to bring him back to BC to be cared for here and she is denying us that right. I feel she is incapable of caring for him and very neglectful of him and would like help having guardianship granted to me and her continuing power of attorney revoked so we can relocate him and have his bank accounts and credit cards inaccessible to her as we feel she is abusing his funds while he is in hospital and now in a state of confusion.
