Case Description
I was excepted into PMA and started school in fall of 2005, in Feb. 2006 I was excused from the program because my adverage had been failing. I was told at this time I could come back for the following paramedic program, I started where I had left off. However I was in the middle of a nasty seperation and was not emotionally prepared for school. I failed an exam and asked the Dean what I should do. She told me to come back when I had my life straighted out and ready to participate. I contacted the Dean this past May and was told I would have to start the program all over and repay my tution. I paid $18 500 right up front when I started school. I was a one time fee that included all the schooling and books. I was in school for a 1/4 of the program and I do feel that I should pay for this however I would like to see a portion of my money returned. Please let me know what I can do. I feel turned off from this school and from ever finishing of my paramedic status. This was an oral agreement and I had trust in them.
