Six weeks for two week job

Case Description
We hired a contractor to redo our kitchen. He promised to get the job done in two weeks. After wrecking the first kitchen he went on Christmas holidays. He came back after a week and took two weeks to fix the kitchen. He took another two weeks to paint the kitchen. The agreed time frame was two weeks but it is now 6 weeks. We paid him for two weeks labour. He has gone to court against us.
