Case Description
I was crossing the xwalk walking my bike across. A pick up pulled up and was turning right on a red light failing to see me. She hit me and dragged me a bit until she heard yelling. She asked if I was okay and then drove away. The manager of public affairs of calgary police was there to witness. We got her plate and 15 minutes cops were there and texting her to come back. She had parked 3 blocks away and came back distraught. They charged her with failing to yeild to a pedestrian but I'm pretty sure that would qualify as a hit and run. It has been 3 months and I had to track her down on facebook to get her insurance to contact me. Somebody riding their bike across the xwalk was also hit in the accident. Minor scrapes and abrasions. I have a doctors report. Looking for legal help on this matter.
