Termination of child support for 18 years old

Case Description
My husband was entitled by Montreal court to pay alimony for his son (it was in 1996). The alimony was paid (& still paying) through the Family Responsibility Office since we are living in Ontario (Toronto). Time past & his son, who lives in Montreal, is turned 18 years old. He is not studying at present time & does not have any intentions to continue his education (at least at this point of time). He works time to time (currently he is looking for job). Also he not lives with his mom on permanent basis (he may show up few times per month). Since, he is adult enough to support himself we would like to stop child support. We need a legal advise how we can represent our case in court. We are also looking for legal advice on (can we do from our province (Ontario) without going to Montreal (except for the hearing/trial) and the supporting documents required.
