Theft in house

Case Description
There was theft in house (which is insured by Home insurance provider)by breaking the front door.
No one was in house for one day/night when thief took away all items like TV, Laptop, Gold Ornaments, cash, cards and other valuable items.
Police was called and they are investigating. Home Insurance provider was also informed.
Some receipt of gold ornament and also old pictures wearing gold ornaments are available but not all receipts.
Need legal advice how to claim loss and whether any work loss is also covered in house burglary
