Was suspended from work without any good reason

Case Description
I was suspended from work after a robbery an insider robbery happened at my workplace. For some odd reason they said they were investigating and for the time being I should stay home and that they would pay me. For me this is a huge slap across the face, more so it's embarassing to go back to work with my coworkers thinking when I had something to do with this. My manager called me up recently to say for me to come back to work and nothing was wrong.
I'm not sure if I want to go back and I'm paranoid about the whole situation. I am wondering if I can take legal action for this. If I could I'm considering, please contact me any lawyers.
