Case Description
My boyfriend was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently died January 24, 2009. His family lives in Ontario and my children and myself cared for him for nearly 1 1/2 years. At end stage his family flew in. His brother was executor. Among others, my boyfriend named myself and my children in the Will and Life Insurance Policy. When arriving in town his brother ordered a copy of the Life Insurance Policy. When I last spoke with him he told me that "the money was gone" and there was nothing for the kids and I. (my boyfriend had me witness and initial each of his written pages of the Will so I am aware of what was outlined in the Will). I know that my boyfriend was too weak and medicated to have changed anything which leads me to believe that the brother had.
