Types of cases and clients preferred
I represent people of all backgrounds, races, creeds and orientation. I understand the special position of those who are new to the country. I insist on using professional translation services where there is a language barrier so that you can have the most clear understanding of my advice and I of your instructions. Because I pour my heart into each case I accept, I work with people who are in need of top notch representation and who respect the value of those services.
Fees & Packages
Do you work on contingency basis?
Exclusively. You will not pay until we get a result.
Initial Consultation and Retainer
Free initial consultation. If possible we like our clients to provide a modest payment towards the expenses we will pay to get the file built up but we understand that often it is not possible. When a file has merit we spend our own money to finance expenses.

About Me

- What attracted you to the law as a profession?
- I have a competitive nature. Law is the only combat sport you can do at a high level when you are past 30.
- Why did you select your primary practice focus?
- I was lucky enough to be chosen to clerk with a great old firm that had been in insurance and injury claims since about 1920. They hired me back as a lawyer. After several years I had the skills that made the decision for me.
- Tell us the story of your law firm. What does your law firm do best?
- A lot of the story is told above but we want to be a throw back to a time when good professional lawyers had pride in their work and were advocates for their client\'s best interests. We want to do a great job, give sound advice, be accessible to the client and know that we have done the best job for our clients that could be done with the facts of their case. We do a very good job of correcting mistakes made by other lawyers. We, sadly, handle fatality claims in a supportive, mature and caring way. We emphasize counseling and rehabilitation so that our clients function at the optimum level when our work is done, either in injury cases or fatal cases. We cut through bull and give straight answers.
- How has your education and work experience prepared you for the reality of your work?
- After 26 years practicing my work is my education and my experience allows me to control the reality of my work !
- How do you and your firm provide superior services to your clients?
- -I insist on prompt responses and except for administrative matters, I am directly available by telephone unless out or preparing for trial. -I am available by email 24 x 7. -I refuse to make the client more stressed out by over medicalizing them. -I want my clients to recover as fully as possible to thier prior level of function even if that means my fee is less. I will make every effort to put them in the hands of caring professionals to reach that goal. -We follow a structured timetable for each action assisted by sophisticated computer software so you case moves forward, subject to a clients recovery status.
- Describe your personality and style as a lawyer?
- No nonsense. Down to earth. Seasoned.
- What's the most difficult and challenging part of your job?
- Trying to explain to the average victim the mess the government and insurance industry has made to the automobile insurance laws in Ontario.
- What makes you the happiest about your job?
- When a client is truly grateful for the work we have done to replace their losses and improve their health and is ready to get on with life again.
- What do you most want clients to understand and appreciate about you?
- At the end of our work , probably before, you will understand all the things we have said above.
- What are your favorite activities and passions after work?
- Family,Toronto Argos,Music, Golf and Skiing.
